Bahasa Inggris - Should Task

Sup friends!

Kali ini saya mendapat amanah dari salah satu guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris saya, Mrs. Euis. Untuk memposting sebuah tugas yang beliau beri di blog saya.

So, here it is :

A. Find the facts from the sentences below :

1.I should have let her know what was happening but I forgot.

2.He should have sent everybody a reminder by email.

3.They should have remembered that their guests don't eat pork.

4.She should have got the letter this morning. I expect she'll give us a call about it later.

5.He should have arrived at his office by now. Let's try ringing him.

6.I shouldn't have shouted at you. I apologize.

7.We shouldn't have left the office so late.

8.We should have anticipated this bad traffic.

9.They shouldn't have sacked him. He was the most creative person on their team.

 He shouldn’t have played tennis last night

B.Write what have to be done in the past ?

1.He forgot to bring his passport

2.The girl didn’t ask  for her parents permission to go camping

3.The man was under the influence of alcohol when he drove his car

4.The boy was rude to his parents

5.You didn’t pay attention to the teacher

6.She thought the matter too seriously

7.She went out last night and the she’s ill

8.They were late for the important meeting because  they took the train

9.My sister didn’t take the doctor’s advice

10.They didn’t make reservation at the hotel before.

Example :

C. Should with Perfective Continuous

- When I came to his house last night he was not studying for his final exam

   He should have been studying for his finalexam

- The children were watching TV at 7.00 PM, although they had a lot of homework to do

   The children shouldn’t have been watching TV

- The neighbour was making too much noise, I couldn’t study

   The neighbour shouldn’t have been making too much noise
